Carmel PO
Went to the drive-through mailbox at 1:40 PM. The mailbox is so full that letters are coming out at the top. Went inside to use the drop off and the line was too long to wait to tell an employee. I tried calling twice and the automated system disconnected me both times. Frustrating to not be able to get through to one human being.

My mailbox was plowed down by a car this afternoon and I called the Carmel post office to ask what to do about mail delivery. Although it was two hours to closing time, no one answered, for more than an hour. I was repeatedly transferred to an operator (?) and eventually hung up on.So here I am, no one to advise me about how to deal with the lack of a mailbox to receive my mail tomorrow and USPS evidently is not set up to deal with customers on the phone during business hours.

We have tried repeatedly to reach a human at the Carmel IN post office to find out why we have not received our box of mail which should’ve been here Saturday 3/25 or Monday 3/27. We have paid for Premium Forwarding Service.. The Carmel PO does not answer their phone and the message has said mailbox full for days. RIDICULOUS.

You should be aware, I can no longer trust putting out-going mail in my mail box at 3591 Tahoe Road Carmel IN 46033. I have had checks made out to three (3) different local business for services in the last three months report they never received their check. In each case it has cost me $25 to stop payment on each check. This is a great inconvenience that I have to leave my home to send out-going mail!

We got no mail today and important letters that needed to go out today did not. This has happened twice now after a holiday weekend. Why can we not count on the USPost Office anymore?

I had my mail box knocked down & will not be able to get a new until Oct. 24th. Is there a way I can get my mail until the 24? I use to get my mail from Nora Branch until we were annexed by Carmel so I.’m not sure where my mail comes from. I noticed mail van says they deliver. Is this a possibility?

Nov 2020 package went missing. Online USPS tracking says "given to another carrier" two weeks ago. What does that mean - Lost?

PLEASE: Teach your sub postal delivery personnel how to read! My last two experiences with re-delivery of held mail have been a mess. I just returned home this afternoon (07/30/2019) from an out of town wedding and the mail that was being held for delivery today included one piece of junk mail, the notice confirming my held mail was being delivered, and some of my neighbor's mail 3 doors down. It is almost impossible for me to believe that Friday, Saturday, and Monday's mail consisted of one envelope addressed to my wife and my neighbor's mail. Previous time I happened to see the mail carrier and questioned him. He acted like I didn't have mail for the time I was away and later showed up with a bundle of my mail which he admitted having delivered to a home in the same subdivision with the same house # but a totally different street name. How am I supposed to have any confidence that my mail isn't in someone else's mailbox who might just toss it away? Why should I trust the USPS to get it right the next time? My regular carrier who is out right now is awesome but her replacements are an embarrassment!

Service continues to deteriorate at this location. Hold mail was delivered four days prior to our requested delivery date & return home from being out of town. Mail rubber banded and jammed in box. Fortunately a neighbor held it for us. Went to PO and got a "who cares" from an alleged supervisor who never gave her name! Last week dropped mail in the slot at post office on Thursday (figuring there was one less chance of it getting lost or mishandled if I placed it in our mailbox), and it was delivered back to our home on Monday! Attitude of many employees indicates a need for customer service training.

7pm Friday night 1/4/19. Still no mail. Called the Post Office around 615pm, was told "it was down" but should be delivering anytime. Not every day is this late, but this route has the most HORRIBLE service I have ever experienced! I NEVER knew a post office could even be run like this!! I absolutely positively can't get over it! Getting mail before 530pm daily is a BONUS and it rarely happens. Why is this route ALWAYS the last one?? Can't that be switched around??????? Can't the late routes be alternated?? Why is it always this one????? Or are several other routes this late too?? Come on!!!

I just called the Carmel Post office and the first person answered the phone after about 10 rings and then hung up, I called right back and Chris answered after 3 rings, listened to my concern and got me an answer to my question after checking immediately, thank you Chris.

Carmel PO is the worst post office in the World!!! They put deliveries on hold w/o you knowing why. you enter and there are tons of people waiting for help, they don't care as the lines grow longer...Tracking packages is impossible there. AND...they NEVER answer the phone. I called Westfield and they were able to help some.

I haven't received any mail in my mailbox since last Wednesday, Jan. 24, and to which I find unusual as I normally get at least one piece of junk mail everyday. I'm expecting some important tax documents by Jan. 31, so hopefully the Carmel PO will come through with the delivery. Has the PO been on vacation or are they just delivering to designated areas on designated days now??

3318540 That is the number on the truck of the very lazy very rude mail lady. She thinks she is the only one with a job to do in the world and she drives like it to. Someone should tell this lady that she is driving in neighborhoods full of kids. Especially during their summer break she needs to slow down and respect the speed limit posted. Next I'll be sure to report to the authorities for her recklessness.

We are sick and tired of our mailman being too lazy to pull his truck into our big driveway, where it is very easy to turn around, and deliver a package to our door. He crams the package in the mailbox and smashes the other mail. We have complained about this but apparently it fell on deaf ears. His new trick now is to put letters or bills inside magazines. Thank goodness we look through the magazine or we would lose important letters. No wonder the post office is going broke. Terrible service!!!!!!!

Carmel's new city slogan should be, "Carmel, the place where mail goes to die!" I might be lucky if one out of ever 5 items mailed to me actually gets delivered. I have called to complain numerous times, but to no avail. No one cares that I'm not getting mail. The Carmel post office always says, "we'll look into it and get back with you," but they NEVER do. Over the past couple of months I have had about 6 different checks that have been mailed to me - from as FAR AWAY as Indianapolis - and none of them ever arrived. Just recently, St. Vincent hospital on 86th Street mailed me some cancer test results. It shocked me that they never arrived...and they were mailed over 10 days ago. No worries Carmel PO, they weren't important. Just cancer test results. It's sad that I now have to tell folks locally NOT to mail me anything, and that I'll just drive around town picking things up. I have to because the Carmel post office is the worst, most unreliable, post offie I have ever had to deal with. I would love to know where all the mail goes.
